Using an innovative custom pellet system, a fit comparable to custom mouthguards made from a dental impression is achieved. This remarkable degree of custom fit is available for a cost only slighly more than the conventional boil and bite design. The custom-fit pellets are specially designed to soften and coalesce in hot water. Then, they are formed into a fat roll which fits onto the surface of a freshly-prepared Scott All-Sports Performance Mouthguard. The pellet-enhanced mouthguard is then fitted again to the mouth to provide a superior, unique fit unmatched except by vacuum-formed or laminated mouthguards made by a dentist from an impression.
